Show me a successful individual and I will show you someone who didn't let his or her mistakes determine the future. I will show you someone who rose despite challenges, barriers and failure. People who learn from their mistakes, don't blame others for them. At the end, they're successful.
John Wooden, the renowned basketball coach, says you aren’t a failure until you start to blame. To do yourself good, you need to take responsibility for your actions and mistakes. Let your goal be to fix them and avoid making the same mistakes over and over again.
Moreover, don't let the success of others become your failure. Celebrate success! We all experience ups and downs, success and failure in life. What's your reaction when someone in your circle is successful? Do you bury your head in sadness? Do you wish you're the current champion? Do you feel you're better than the reigning champion? Are you jealous or envious of others? The above feelings are not healthy. Rejoice with those who are rejoicing. Celebrate the success of your neighbours, friends, spouse, family and others. The success of others should not be your own failure. If it does, something is wrong somewhere. It could mean you determine your success by the downfall of others. You feel successful when you win and others lose. You see yourself as a failure when others get a higher grade or make a bigger profit. Stop right there! Start to work on yourself.
.....But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

How can I have a relationship with God?
1.Confess your sins to God. Romans 3:10, 23; 5:12
2.Ask that the blood of Jesus cleanse you from all your sins. Hebrew 9:22, 1John 1:7-9.
3.Ask Jesus to come and reign in your life.
4.Forgive yourself and move on.
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]."
5.Read your Bible and pray everyday.
6.Pray that God will lead you to a Bible believing church and fellowship with them.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I come to you today; save me and I shall be saved. Heal me and I shall be healed. Forgive me of all my sins (confess them). Have mercy on me. Come and be the Lord over my spirit, soul and body. Help me not to go back to my old way of life - give me a new beginning. I am yours Lord! In Jesus name I pray. Amen
Important Information
Giving your life to Jesus does not mean you will not experience challenges in life. Infact, you may be persecuted because of your faith in Jesus. You may experience pain, temptations, trials, disasters, loss and so on. In the event that any of these things happen to you, know assuredly that He is with you. The difference between you and an unbeliever is God's promises - His presence and the ultimate reward which is eternity with Him in heaven.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you."
Isaiah 43:2 AMP
"Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 AMP
If you continue to be in good standing with God; when you die, you will go to heaven.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven."
Matthew 7:21 AMP
