Stop complaining - start praying!
I have met people from different works of life with deep questions - such as
Why am I in so much pain?
When are my problems going to be over?
I do everything right but why is my life upside down?
How did I get myself into this mess?
Am I the only one?
Why is it that no one cares?
Where is God? I can't see Him!
These and more questions flood people's hearts when things are not going well for them.
"When Jesus saw her sobbing, and the Jews who had come with her also sobbing, He was deeply moved in spirit [to the point of anger at the sorrow caused by death] and was troubled, and said, “Where have you laid him?” They said, “Lord, come and see.” Jesus wept."
John 11:33-35 AMP
I have a good news for you - Jesus cares about you! He feels your pain! He wept at the pain of others. He still weeps today! This shows He is sympathetic and empathetic. He is a merciful God! He's right there with you! All you need to do is come to His throne of mercy and grace in prayer. Stop complaining, start praying!
"For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin. Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]."
Hebrews 4:15-16 AMP
God wants our communication with Him to be relational. No wonder Our Lord's prayer starts with "Our Father". The question now is can you call God your Father? If no, I have a few suggestions for you -
1.Confess your sins to God. Romans 3:10, 23; 5:12
2.Ask that the blood of Jesus will cleanse you from all your sins. Hebrew 9:22, 1John 1:7-9.
3.Ask Jesus to come and reign in your life.
4.Forgive yourself and move on.
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]." 2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP
5.Read your Bible and pray everyday.
6.Pray that God will lead you to a Bible believing church and fellowship with them.
