Seventy times Seven
One of the prayers I said this morning is "I haul all bitterness, pain and unforgiveness in my heart to the river of forgetfulness in Jesus name". You ask why I prayed that prayer - I need complete healing from my past hurts. Did you know - if you remember or see the people that offended you and you become angry, you haven't forgiven them. Yes, it means you still harbour unforgiveness in your heart. This is not healthy for your mental, spiritual, emotional and physical health. You do yourself good when you forgive.
I've met a lot of people but I haven't seen anyone who can say an individual offended him or her 490 times in one day. We offend each other on a regular basis - that's part of being human but regardless, God wants us to forgive so we can be forgiven.
You need to forgive that individual that hurt you so bad. If you're struggling with unforgiveness, ask God to help you. Peace-makers are the children of God and people who would not make peace are the opposite (children of the devil) and you know where the devil belongs. Hell!
I pray that you will not go to hell in Jesus name. Forgive !.
Continually pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification without which no one will [ever] see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of God’s grace; that no root of resentment springs up and causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;

Important Information
Giving your life to Jesus does not mean you will not experience challenges in life. Infact, you may be persecuted because of your faith in Jesus. You may experience pain, temptations, trials, disasters, loss and so on. In the event that any of these things happen to you, know assuredly that He is with you. The difference between you and an unbeliever is God's promises - His presence and the ultimate reward which is eternity with Him in heaven.
