God is the answer to all the questions in our minds and in the world today. He is all knowing God! He can do all things! He is a merciful God. He cares about our wellbeing. He heals the sick, raises the dead, He mends the broken hearted. There's no one like Him. With Him all things are possible!
No matter your level of education, experience and exposure you don't have answers. Only God does!
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son (Jesus), but only the Father.
Mark 13:32 NKJV
If Jesus says only the Father knows thing(s), we mortal humans cannot say we have answers to everything. We don't!
Did you know?
1.Doubt is seeking for evidence.
2. Unbelieving is refusing to believe despite all evidence.
3. Sometimes answer is not always what we need but the presence of God.
Job did not get an answer but God's presence. Paul didn't get an answer he desired but instead received the grace of God. "I was given a thorn in my body because of the outstanding revelations I’ve received so that I wouldn’t be conceited. It’s a messenger from Satan sent to torment me so that I wouldn’t be conceited. I pleaded with the Lord three times for it to leave me alone. He said to me, “My grace is enough for you, because power is made perfect in weakness.” So I’ll gladly spend my time bragging about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power can rest on me."
2 Corinthians 12:7-9 CEB
Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane didn't get what He wished for but an angel came and ministered to Him. "He said, “ Father, if it’s your will, take this cup of suffering away from me. However, not my will but your will must be done. ” Then a heavenly angel appeared to him and strengthened him."
Luke 22:42-43 CEB
In moments like this - does holding on to miracles, deliverance, provision and so on bring salvation? Should we put our trust in the Miracle Worker, Deliverer, the Provider and the Saviour? If we put our faith in healing and not in the Healer we will be in trouble if the sickness comes back after remission. In the same vein if our confidence is in what we own, what happens if we run out of supplies?
Even in this COVID-19 pandemic, God is the answer! As we take all the precautions and follow the rules put in place by the authorities, we must remember our Maker. Let's go back to God in repentance and ask for mercy.
"and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14 AMP
"‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’"
Jeremiah 33:3 AMP
Remember
"My plans aren’t your plans, nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD . Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my plans than your plans."
Isaiah 55:8-9 CEB
When you don't have answers, I suggest you ask that the will of God be done.
Judgement is coming!
I suggest you use this time for sober reflection. Ask God - 'what are you teaching me in this time of global crisis?' This is time to go to God in repentance. A time to cry unto God for mercy. "And it shall be that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord Jesus] shall be saved (rescued spiritually).’"
Acts 2:21 AMP
How can I have a relationship with God?
1.Confess your sins to God. Romans 3:10, 23; 5:12
2.Ask that the blood of Jesus cleanse you from all your sins. Hebrew 9:22, 1John 1:7-9.
3.Ask Jesus to come and reign in your life.
4.Forgive yourself and move on.
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]."
5.Read your Bible and pray everyday.
6.Pray that God will lead you to a Bible believing church and fellowship with them.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I come to you today; save me and I shall be saved. Heal me and I shall be healed. Forgive me of all my sins (confess them). Have mercy on me. Come and be the Lord over my spirit, soul and body. Help me not to go back to my old way of life - give me a new beginning. I am yours Lord! In Jesus name I pray. Amen
Important Information
Giving your life to Jesus does not mean you will not experience challenges in life. Infact, you may be persecuted because of your faith in Jesus. You may experience pain, temptations, trials, disasters, loss and so on. In the event that any of these things happen to you, know assuredly that He is with you. The difference between you and an unbeliever is God's promises - His presence and the ultimate reward which is eternity with Him in heaven.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you."
Isaiah 43:2 AMP
"Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 AMP
If you continue to be in good standing with God; when you die, you will go to heaven.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven."
Matthew 7:21 AMP
