Stop Telling Lies

 It's common for people to classify lies into different types, such as white lies, black lies, or diplomacy. However, the fact remains that a lie is a lie, regardless of how it's packaged. As children of God, it's essential for us to avoid telling lies. Just like any other sin, lying has its consequences, as mentioned in Revelation 21:8. Therefore, it's always beneficial to choose honesty over deceit.

‭‭Proverbs 6:16-19 NLT‬‬ reads:

"There are six things the Lord hates— no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family."

Remember, the devil is the father of all lies (John 8:44).
