Mental Health

Every aspect of your life is very important to God. He wants you to succeed in all ramifications. Did you know God has provided everything you need to achieve his plans for your life?

After all is said and done, you also have a role to play. You're equally responsible for your physical, spiritual and mental health. You need to take care of yourself!

After the big victory on Mount Carmel and the long awaited rain, Elijah became depressed. He was ready to quit; he wanted to die. 1Kings 18 & 19. However, after he rested and ate, he was recharged and ready to go about his assignment.

But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!” Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.” So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.
(I Kings 19:4‭-‬5‭, ‬8 NKJV)

How often do you rest?

How often do you take time off for "me time"?

Do you eat well?

Don't wait until depression sets in before you do all of these things. Take care of yourself!

Blessings!
