Waste
How much food, time and resources do we allow to go to waste? A little here and a little there add up. It all adds up! If the Creator teaches us not to be wasteful and demonstrates the same, how much more you and I.
Jesus left His glory and splendor in heaven and came to this world. Silver and gold and all riches belong to Him; yet He didn't lead a wasteful life while on earth.
Before you throw that food in the garbage, remember there are people that would go to bed hungry. Feed the poor! Don't throw your old clothes and other materials that are in good repair out. Give them to the needy. Remember what Jesus says in Matthew 26:11
"You will always have the poor among you…."
You're what you are and who you are by the grace and mercy of God. It's not because you're hard working or you're a good person. There are people who are more hard working than you but they have nothing to show for it. Be thankful! Share what you have with the less privileged!
