Did you know - you don't own yourself?
If you have a farm, you're a farm owner. If you own a house, you're a home owner. If you have a business, you become business owner. The list continues..... The history of a product is not complete without making mention of its founder and co-founders. The world knows that Bill Gates and Paul Allen created Microsoft. In the same vein, the history of human being is not complete without the Creator.
So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27 NLT
What does this mean?
You don't own yourself neither are you owned by another creature. God owns you! Your life is not your own; it belongs to God!
If you haven't surrendered your life to the Owner, this is the time to do so. Why?
Run away from sexual immorality [in any form, whether thought or behavior, whether visual or written]. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the one who is sexually immoral sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]? You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 AMP

God wants to have a relationship with you.
"This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins".
1 John 4:10 NLT
He bridged the gap that sin created between God and man by sending Jesus Christ to die for our sins.
Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.
1 Peter 3:18 NLT
He has prepared a place for you in heaven, so you can reign with Him after your sojourn on earth.
How can I have a relationship with God?
1.Confess your sins to God. Romans 3:10, 23; 5:12
2.Ask that the blood of Jesus will cleanse you from all your sins. Hebrew 9:22, 1John 1:7-9.
3.Ask Jesus to come and reign in your life.
4.Forgive yourself and move on.
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]."
2 Corinthians 5:17 AMP
5.Read your Bible and pray everyday.
6.Pray that God will lead you to a Bible believing church and fellowship with them.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I come to you today; save me and I shall be saved. Heal me and I shall be healed. Forgive me of all my sins (confess them). Have mercy on me. Come and be the Lord over my spirit, soul and body. Help me not to go back to my old way of life - give me a new beginning. I am yours Lord! In Jesus name I pray. Amen
